Neil MacGregor, the Director of the British Museum, marks the 400th anniversary of Rembrandt's birth in R3's Sunday Feature Rembrandt 400 on Sunday July 9. The actual birthday of Rembrandt is on July 15 and Amsterdam has been marking the year with all kinds of events from a new musical on Rembrandt's life to exhibitions looking at every aspect of Rembrandt's work, from the epic painting of The Night Watch to the small-scale etchings and drawings.
