Fatpuss is a cat. Overweight, and with poor eyesight, he has delusions of power and grandeur once in receipt of his first pair of spectacles. With his trusty lieutenant Glister, a smelly but honest rat with hearing difficulties, Fatpuss is on a mission; to sample the imagined delights of the top cat food, Jellycat's Whiskos. Initially, Fatpuss tries various schemes, involving the setting up and operation of an Animal Clinic, followed by Intensive Mouse Farming, an Animal Circus, and ultimately, the launching of Raymond, his top secret weapon. With his pampered relation, Spencer, and Sardinolini, the security cat from the Italian Restaurant, as well as the Koala Kat, a full company of rats, and of course the local vet with his cat thermometer, Fatpuss embarks on a series of adventures. That is, until Glister makes a truly horrific discovery... This is a tale of destiny versus free will in the world of small animals, and the struggle to make sense of their lives.
