In my opinion to my knowledge Eli and Lori did have the most romantic, electrifying romance that I have ever witnessed!I mean they had a special kind of love it lasted for 16 years I'm not sure exactly what happened in the end but it was all due to both of them messing up and I honestly feel they still love eachother!
