A young man awakens from a coma after a near-fatal accident. Over the next year, he makes many life choices including picking a name (Billy Bob Bahama), a place to live, and forming new friendships. He then embarks on several sailing adventures in the Bahamas. The many new experiences are viewed through the eyes of a somewhat naive, but very likeable, amnesiac!
