
Since the day the dinosaur walked off with the caveman’s hard-fought for piece of meat, people have declared that “Life’s not fair.” People have longed for a life where behaviour is rewarded appropriately as a natural part of being. Instead of which, life is a roller coaster of random events that reward the good and bad in equally random ways … until now. A solar flare and its resulting radiation seems to have changed the very fabric of life so that, bizarrely, good things now seem to happen to good people and bad things happen to bad life has become “fair”. Michael, Paula, Lis, James, their friends and families live in this emerging reality and are faced with situations and people who stretch the way they make decisions about everything in life. But is a “fair” world necessarily a “better” world?
