The poems in this book are about what is happening to our world today and what may happen tomorrow. The title poem, "A Requiem for the Age of Man," describes the decline of the natural world resulting from human abuse. As the human race degenerates into anarchy, then savagery, and finally approaches extinction, there is a magnificent resurgence of nature. Topics presented in other poems in this book include urban decay, government neglect, political corruption, space colonies, global warming, climate change and animal extinction.
